how to store your g for the winter?

I am tired of having to jump start my car every month to drive it. My car is garaged most of the time. How can I keep it from draining the battery when I don't drive it often?

Do I just disconnect the negative terminal and whenever I am ready just rehook it back on and start my car again?

You could try a battery tender.

^Not a good thing to do.

Starting the car for short periods is really bad for many components.
Each time you do it you get more moisture trapped in the oil.
The partially warm oil condenses moisture out of the air.

The car needs a full warm up cycle of driving (about 20 min)
to dissipate moisture contaminants in the oil.

For similar reasons it's also very hard on exhaust systems etc.
