Clear corners jacked :(

I came back from class (in college) and I noticed that my clear corners were gone and the light bulb was dangling there from the wire. I looked around and saw nobody suspicious. I inspected my car and nothing else was wrong with it. Now I have to pay $35 for new ones and ride around with my gay stock clear corners in the meanwhile. Is there a way to lock them or to prevent someone from doing this again? My fear is that they will get jacked again (either by the same person or different person) as soon as I buy new ones. Any advice guys?

you can try bolting them down from the inside... Now that G's are getting cheaper, I expect to see this much more since alot of kids will be owning G's. Sad day.

they are too easy to steal, not much you can do about that, without a ton of hassle on your end.

Isn't that the truth. Why buy something when you can just steal it from someone elses car?

Honestly, you're better off just letting them get jacked instead of bolting them or attaching them to your car. Yes, I know, it succcks, but let me put it this way:

New pair of clear corners: $35
New front bumper after some a**munch keeps trying to pull on your corners: >$500 and a whole lot of headache.

I feel bad, but its going to happen more and more as the G becomes more affordable and common.

I say just leave your stock ones on. Forget buying new ones if they're only going to get jack'd again.

People are rediculous! I caught a kid stealing valve stem caps off my car. Needless to say he will never do it again (at least from my car) because I beat the hell out of him. At least it wasn't anything to expensive that was taken. Sad that someone is so broke they have to steal a $35 part

it may not even be another G owner... its probably some punk@ss kid that want to sell 'em for $10...

I had a black chrome trunk emblem pried off with a screwdriver (or something similar) that left a huge gash - it cost $200+ to buy another and have the trunk re-painted (airbrush touch-up)... what pissed me off is I found the emblem a few days later sitting in a puddle of oily water face down (corroding) about 50 yrds from where my car was parked.
I'm sure it was the same type of punk b!tch turd kid that thought it would cool to have or try to sell.

people that do this stuff - F-ing idiots!

you should put some razor blades on the side of the corners, next fool that takes them will be in for a surprise. My friend did thid to his car radio because it got stolen, he just added razors to the sides, which you cant see untill you take the radio out.

Why stop at razor blades? I would consider wiring up a hand grenade or other small explosive. Sure, it will destroy your car when it goes off, but it'll teach that fool not to mess with your clear corners.
