i see ppl often refering to the interior as black or wheat/tan or graphite
eg xx on black or xx on wheat/tan

i just saw a g35c coupe that had an wheat/tan leather interior BUT black console (back steering wheel, gear ****, dashboard, front compartment, a/c ducts down to the seat heater buttons and front cupholder)
the aluminum panels are still there, standard and no change

its pretty nice looking too

any have have thoughts about that combo?
is that rare? does infiniti do this colour combination OR is this a custom job where parts are replaced (thought it would require alot of parts as mentioned above...so i doubt it)

It's called Stone I think.

Pretty cool, not that common but was factory option.

the current infiniti website lists Stone and Wheat as two separate options with the aluminium
wont that make it either stone leather or wheat leather?

From what I understand, it's standard with all coupe from 06+ expect white coupes.

I have the exact combo like your talking about. However I'm trying to get all black as we speak.

 

what do you mean its standard?
i have seen a 06 and 07 coupe both AB on the outside but all wheat inside,
with steering wheel, gear shifter wheat colour too...
i am not sure what do you mean by standard.

 

Well is that's the case, my bad for posting false information. I was under the assumption it was standard. Let me search and see what I can find.

There are 3 Color options. I'm not going to use the formal names so there is no confusion.

Tan(Wheat)- All tan seats, dash, everything.

Black/White(Stone)- Black Dash/ whiteish seats. Seats color is whiter than the tan color, but not pure white.

Black(Graphite)- All black.

 

I have the black/stone (grayish/white, dunno really how to explain the color) interior but I think there are only a few combination of colors you can choose for interior... It's either all black, all tan, or the black/stone combo (correct me if I'm wrong, anyone). I don't like all black because in the summer, it gets WAY too hot in the car, plus it makes everything so dark on the inside (especially with tinted windows) and being in it too long would make me feel a little "depressed". I wouldn't get all tan because any kind of blemish or stain or spec of dirt could be seen, plus it just seems to "old fashioned" to me. I think black/stone is perfect because the black dash makes things look really aggressive while the lighter colored seats make things look brighter and "happier." All in all, you can obtain a very sport yet luxurious feeling when sitting in the car with those two colors contrasting each other. I also think that color scheme looks great for my LP car. Here are a few pictures I just snatched I just got home from work plus it's dark out so I didn't wanna drive it out of the garage to show you, but if you want daytime pictures I can upload some tomorrow or sometime so you can see.
