Just came home to find out my Extended Warranty was canceled?
I never requested for the cancellation of it -
Anyone else experience this?
They sent me a check for the "prorated refund" -
What the hell?!

As soon as I caught the letter -
I dialed the number provided on the paper -
Surprise Surprise, to my convenience they close their offices at 5 pm Eastern -FML

Did they give any reasons in the letter? They aren't likely to just cancel a policy unless they had a reason to do it. How long ago did you purchase the Elite Plan? Which Plan was it? What mods do you have on your car? Were there any recent events that preceeded this? (accident, recent service at a dealership, long interval between services, etc.)

I get my car serviced on the dot at the same infiniti dealership -
Purchase plan was purchased a year ago - 02/12/2008
The only mods I have is an intake, and 20" Work Wheels -
It was the 50K miles or 4 years plan - (I was going to extend it even longer later)

The last event that happened was I took my car in for a wheel alignment/check if I needed new pads at the dealership about two months ago -
Upon arriving their "Lead Mechanic" informed me that he was going to scratch up my wheels during the wheel alignment and removal of the wheels.
I requested that they use a breaker bar and remove the wheels by hand, I even offered to do it - Alas I'm not allowed in the work area per insurance reasons which I understood. He told me they didn't get paid enough at Infiniti to do it with a breaker bar.
Long story short, I took my business else-where.
Had a performance shop do a superb job on the wheel alignment, and check my pads (which I didn't need) - without a single scratch on my wheels.
I did express my disappoint with the dealership though. I don't see how that could result in a termination of my warranty.

Here's the letter word for word -

"We have received a request to cancel your Extended Protection Plan Service Agreement."

I never requested a cancellation -
I'll be calling them first thing tomorrow morning.

Edit: One more thing, I complained about the window motor on the passenger side - The window goes down quite slow, compared to the drivers side. They told me "If it kinda works, we can't fix it"
Which was another massive disappointment. Alas I just moved on.

You may not have requested it, but my guess is the dealership did, for whatever reason. I would contact them as well as Infiniti. Complaining about their inability to perform a wheel alignment or not fixing the window issue don't sound like legitimate reasons to cancel a policy.

And since when do you need a breaker bar to remove a lug nut? How do they do any work that requires removal of a wheel?

They needed the removal of the wheel to see if the pads needed changing.
I would think they would tell me pre-hand, not just cancellation.
Seems like they don't want my future business.
I'm going to get to the bottom of this tomorrow, and post up a reply.

You don't need a breaker bar, I just did not want them using an air wrench for the removal -
As it would chance damaging the lug nuts and wheels -
Japtrix had no problem doing it by hand, they even recommended they do so -
I don't see why Infiniti can't put the same car towards my car, when I'm paying for the work -
It's not even warranty work.

I'll post update tomorrow after I call -

Palm Beach Infiniti -
Search them on here, I've yet to read anything positive on them.
Looking to purchase an automobile, they'll treat you like royalty -
Looking to have service done? They'll treat you like complete and utter dirt.

To be honest, I wouldn't be surprised to hear they canceled my warranty -
Either way I'll get to the bottom of this, and post the results on here.
