what does rev mean? its lit in my dash.
It means your car is outdated and you need a new REVISION (Rev). Take it to the dealer ASAP and let them know to update your blinker fluid.
No but really, it's there and will always stay there. If you hit the trip reset button three times it will get you to a "shift light" option. For example, mine is set at 6700 RPM. When I get there a red light just below the "REV" light starts blinking violently, warning me to shift or I'll blow the welds on my manifold and rivets will start popping out of my uselss panel on my floorboard.
Do you have an owners manual? If not then call Infiniti North America, they'll send you one. Or, you can download one off the net.
