Hello all let me start by saying apologize for not posting in here and just reading up.

The issue is I recently installed a cold air intake on my 04-mt and it has given me growl and sounds and feel great and far as performance but I have noticed a few things that i am not sure about. One the car burps after shut down as if built up pressure is escaping when the engine is not on and doing what is dose. While the engine is running i notice the increased pressure or vacuum sound and just listen carefully when i say this so no one feels the need to bash my post or calls me a jack *** but while searching for where the cause of this burp was i tugged the dip stick (i know do not check oil while engine is running) but the dip stick had a increased amount of resistance and a suction sound was heard when i did get it out. Not sure if this is enough to get the discussion rolling in the right track. The only other mods are under drive pulley kit and a intake plenum spacer.

 

Probably need to check/replace the PCV valve.
