What I Hate About The G35...Rant
I've owned my G35C for 1 month. I've noticed that I'm always having to defend myself at the stoplight and on the freeway. Too many people wanting to race. My G35C is stock. No visual mods. Nothing. Just debadged. I just wave them by and they just don't get it.
I am not a fan of racing on the street. I used to be a regular at the track at places such as Willow Springs, Buttonwillow, LACR and Sacramento Raceway. I just like the track better.
Too many cops in my area and just not worth it.
List of cars in just one month that have tried to start a race...
Civic Si
Mustang (non GT)
M3
Mercedes C300
Scion tC
Cobalt SS
Does the G35 come with a hidden "race me" bumper sticker that I don't know about?
I never had a problems with my previous cars and I've been in the scene for a long time. All the people looked like younger drivers. Probably in the early 20's at most.
Just for the record, I could have bought a "fast" car if I wanted since I'm well established in my career. Too many cars out there but I wanted something cheap and stylish. the G35 fit well. I didn't buy the G35 to the "king of the streets" and I know most of you here didn't either.
With all that said, I LOVE THIS CAR!
End of rant.

See... The sedan... The choice for the discerning G driver. You coupe drivers are all show! You get attention from the ricers and cops, and we drve past on our merry way! Victory is ours! Bwahahahaha
I had an old Civic with fartcans on it ******* all around me the other day. I was just out running errands with my son. I tried to ignore him but he just kept at it until I turned on my street.
I had more problems with this when I had a Corvette though.

Put on different wheels if you want to turn heads the coupe 19s are tight as hell BUT look stock. My car like 2 weeks ago was a pretty normal looking G that some lawyer woman drives to work everyday. After I put on the wheels/got it tinted I notice people looking at the car way more, kids at my school walk by it and say how dope that car is haha.
But I have way to many ricers in civics and Cavaliers pull up beside me and rev. AND the fly *** wheels got me a ticket over the weekend. So stealth is nice too

It is because now tons of dumb HS kids are getting G35s and racing everything they see.
All you need to do is turn your windshield washer nozzles sideways, then give them a good squirt.

I dont get people trying to race me but maybe its because of where I live.
And OP look at the list of cars you made. It would be a shock if no one of them wanted to race. Those are the typical want to be street racing cars.

Cuz we drive sedans
If i see a coupe on the road, chances are the driver is under 25 years old and has a few visible mods and a g35driver.com decal. If i see a sedan, they are more than likely 30+ and have no idea this site exists. I'm glad i got a sedan...i just want to blend in and drive
When i'm out driving my Mustang, every tom dick and harry tries to race me. I've had 18-wheelers rev at me, school buses rev at me, hybrids whir their batteries at me, motorcycles rev at me, kids on 10-speeds....you name it.
Like i said before, you get used to it and just stop paying attention. Ever pull up next to a guy in a corvette or a ferrari or something and rev at him and he ignore it? Yup...that guy "just got used to it"
