I am talking about ownership .

I had a Black 05 G35 Coupe (user name: BlackGWhiteMe) then got a 06 350Z, followed by an 07 Xterra, and now proudly own an Athens Blue 06 G35 Coupe. I will take some pictures of it this weekend. So far I have added 19" Axis Shine & mounted a Garmin 750 on top of my center cubby (which doesnt look too bad).

First order of business is JWT Pop Charger & Z Tube, Skunk2 plenum spacer and a black vinyl overlay for the roof. I dont know if anyone in Tampa knows how to install an overlay though. I sure as hell dont.

I test drove a G37 coupe but couldnt justify spending $15,000 more on a car right now.

Anyways after three years and three cars I am back again.

Saw you wanted a black roof. Here are some pics when I did mine. I only had it on for a day. I don't know it just didn't jive with me. Even though I have a whole black & blue thing going on. It could be that I did a bad job with the overlay. Had a bunch of bubbles and a couple of creases.

Im in st pete BlueSteel and my G is in the shop after I got taken out by a plumbing truck at a red light,so ill be glad to be around a G again. Ill give you a hand if you want.

 

I looked at all different cars even test drove a 335i which takes off like a bullet after the lag but there was nothing better looking for the money. I considered a CTS, 335i, 328i, IS350, G35 sedan (07), but seeing Athens Blue in person sealed the deal for me. The overlay looks great in pictures but I havent seen any in person. It works for any color I think (well except for black). If I see it in person, I may change my mind.

keep your stock air box, and add a motordyne space instead.

 

Color is very nice.. Do at least a Ztube/KN Filter and spacers if anything.. Good luck!
