Should i get a Roof Overlay? Or paint my roof black??
No, that's not bat's overlay. Some other guy's.
So you prefer painted tails over overlay'd tails, but you prefer overlay'd roof over painted roofs? 
Wait until you get swirls. You won't be able to buff them out like you would with paint.
And compare the reflection of the tree in the overlay and in the glass. It's noticeable. The reflection from a good paint job will look as clear as glass.

I'm sure paint looks awsome and clean.. I just wasn't sure if I would like it so I went w the overlay as a test.
I guess my point is that the overlay doesn't look bad or any different then my paint on my car and its been months since I had it installed. I'm very picky on my car so I'm sure I would've noticed swirls or if there was anything wrong w it and it would've been changed by now 4 sure. Maybe it depends on the weather? Or who did it? Or the type of overlay?
Anyway OP.. I guess if you want to be sure, you can always pay to get it painted. Or if you want to try out the overlay and if you don't like it you can always peel it off.

Sorry but if my roof looked like that I would be p!ssed. People think that looks like paint? Mabey spray paint, but it looks so fake.

I have the blue bat overlay, i figured that if i didn't like it, I'd pull it off and learn my lesson and lose 50. but if i did like it, whenever i get my car retouched with road rash/chips from previous driver, i'd get it painted. If you like the way it looks, i'd just get it painted. Im getting paint. ftw
