Compression rods/Front suspension...

Has anyone had this failure yet? The bushing on the front lower A-arms start cracking and causes alignment to change? I have been told the only way to fix this is buying new lower arms(revised).

Any other alternatives? Solid aluminum bushings to replace rubber, etc.

thanks.

the alternative is buying just the bushings. on the aluminum arms (rwd) they can be pressed out. awd arms are steel and will most likely need a rull rod replacement as they will more likely than not be rusted out. this is not much cheaper, as the labor would still be the same.

I would not recommend this job as a DIY...
