I know it sounds weird, but check to make sure that your gas cap is on tight.

I did about an hour ago. still on 1 thing tho my sister just pointed out that there are tiny oil spots in the garage but the light has never been on before . I'm definitely taking it to the infiniti dealer when I go up to Tampa. unfortunately the infiniti dealer is about 2 hours away

Before you do your drive, make sure to check the oil level, since you'll wreck the engine if it's low and losing oil. In fact, bring some spare oil with you to top off on the way. I've never run my G35 low on oil, so I don't know what the low oil indicator is, but it could be the check engine light.

If your car is dripping oil, it's one of three things.
1) The oil drain plug isn't in tight enough or missing a washer.
2) The oil filter isn't screwed on tight.
3) The oil cap on top of the engine is missing and the oil is spurting out the top.

some things I found out :1st last night I was scared the oil was leaking when I saw all the oil under my car, checked the dipstick, it was the old oil the moron didnt clean up when he changed it. 2nd thing I went to nissan today about 12 miles from my house, payed $47.50 for them to tell me "238 DIAG TIME FOUND TO HAVE CODE PO444 PURGE VOLUME CONT/V" nissan said it would not hurt to drive it but in order to get it fixed I will have to drive to tampa to the dealer. Happy to find out that it is not an oil leak, kinda pissed I have to waste time in tampa. So I am going to do some searching around to see exactly what this PO444 Purge code is, the service engine soon light is still on after they reset it. but thank you to all for helping. and yes I am changing my own DDDAAMMMNNN OIL FROM NOW ON (when i learn how)

i would call back the shop that did your oil change and explain to them what happen and make them pay or repair the cost of your engine code problem.

I don't think it has anything to do with your oil change. I just Googled the code and found this. http://www.bba-reman.com/content.asp...ssan_dtc_po444

It has something to do with you evaporator canister. Did you try tightening the gas cap as earlier mentioned. Also maybe reset your ECU to see if it throws the code again.

You know you can go to autozone or pep boys and they will pull the code for FREE right? No offense but its your own fault for going to the dealer to get the code pulled. That is no ones fault but your own.
