was this anyone's car? just trying to find out if there's any other mods on the car that doesn't show in the pics.. the dealer overpriced it like crazy..and it seems to be pretty modded. can't see what's under the hood though but it looks like it's got a ti-c exhaust. i personally really don't like the rims either dunno if it's 19 or 20's. i liked the smoked out taillights but def not the headlights. don't like the 'injen' stickers either..can anyone tell me what model pioneer aftermarket nav that is? and the shift ****? thanks !

 

I hope not, don't like the wheels and the blue overlays either. I'd buy a stock one and mod it myself, imo. The **** looks like the nismo cf.

 

Why? You looking to buy? If so, never buy a modded car. What do ppl do when they mod their cars? They DOG THEM OUT!

 

yeah i know the golden rule of not buying a modded car but i would REALLY like athen's blue and i haven't been able to find any around me for the longest time. i basically want an 06-07 with premium package and preferably nav. with under 20,000 miles. the only ones i've really found are in like DG or BS and it's a bit plain. and some dealers are really asking for ALOT on these cars. i dunno i feel like it's hopeless. i'm about to give up and get a rsx-s or civic si..........someone help

 

If you look carefully at the 4th pic, the front bumper doesn't line up with the quarter panel. I'd be concerned that the work on the car was shoddy. If you're still in Iraq you have time to find the right car for you. Even if you're not, be patient and do your homework. In time the right car will show up, hopefully sooner than later. You won't be sorry you took your time. It took me several months and looking at several hundred cars (online and in person) to find mine. Pain in the butt, maybe. Worth it, definitely.

One more thing, they are asking way too much for an 06. $28,000 my azz!!

 

thanks man appreciate it. i didn't notice the bumper. well regardless the dealer doesn't seem very flexible on the price (determined through a couple of swapped emails) so oh well. it was just so tempting because finally i found an athen's blue in 6mt. sigh on well. oh and i'm back from iraq since a couple of weeks ago..gotta update that. thanks alot on the replies!!

 

All I know is for 3-5K more, you may be able to get your hands on a G37 coupe depending on how bad that dealing is doing, LOL. If you were willing to pay that kind of money, PLEASE dont limit yourself to a G35. Don't limit yourself to a G3ANYTHING.

Cars you can get in that range:

BMW 6 series
BMW M3 (obviously not 2009 but previous model)
Mercedes SL500
Corvette
S4

Dont buy a G35 for high 20'a. In fact, dont pay 20- anything.

 

i'm basically trying to spend low to mid 20's for a car right now..
i want something that looks good but also has decent performance and luxury is nice. so it seems like the g35 fits the description perfectly. oh and i pretty much need backseats.
bmw 6 series..don't know much about it. dunno about the performance and whatnot
bmw m3 - scared of the maintenance costs..enough said haha
mercedes sl500 - dunno much about mercedes..but i don't like the way they look. i just did a quick google image search on the sl500 and that just furthered my opinion on them.
corvette - too flashy for a DD
s4 - same with the 6 series..just dunno much about them and i don't see many good looking audies out there. plus i want a coupe i'm under the impression it's a 4 door

i don't wanna make it seem like i'm just shooting down your suggestions. i really appreciate all the feedback so thanks for the effort! if anything comes to mind please feel free to lemme know haha

 

Nah it's cool. We all like what we like. A 6-series would murder a G35 though, performance-wise. But they aren't low to mid 20's. For that price range, G is probably best for you.

Dont settle bro. Get what you want, just take your time. I've been searching for my ivory for months now and I think ive zeroed in on a couple as of yesterday. You mentioned the civic and the rsx... but come on. Is that what you REALLY want? Or would you be "settling" for one of those cars?

If you're at the club and you want the hot *** black haired girl with the dark tan, you dont go for her dumpy blonde friend do you? Of course not! Dont settle bro!

i'd settle for the dumpy blonde if i tried hard and hard all night for the tanned one and she rejected me . no but seriously i know where you're coming from. i've just been searching and searching and aghhhhhh i can't find anything that fits the miles, model, year, packages and color i want. but thanks for your input!
