Put 245/45s on the front...Is this okay?

I just replaced my front tires, which were the original size (225/45, correct)?

Is it okay that I put slightly bigger tires on the front? I am not experiencing any rubbing...advice please

It seems a little odd that you are asking this question AFTER you put them on. What if it isn't OK? Just curious.

I mean I assume all is fine anyway. I was really just curious if anyone else has done something similar. I want to go wider on the back too.

Go look at the size on your tires again. I don't believe anyone makes a "240" width tire, but I could be wrong. Also, we need the rim size as well...

I'm assuming these are the oem wheels, hopefully the eighteens. It should be fine... a little more bulge beyond the wheel on a verticle axis, but that is fine. Good luck.

Yeah man, thats totally cool. A friend of man put 255's on front and back. It worked out fine, and looked great. And FYI- idk the max for the front, but the back has been proven to handle 275's if you want to go THAT big.. good luck bro.

I had 255 on the rear, I am since gotten new wheels with 275s on them, but my oem wheels (18s) handled the 255s well.

im running 245/40/19 up front and 255/40 in rear on oem 19's and dropped on g35c tein stech .
i like having as much rubber as possible for traction / stability.
absolutely no problems.
im 04 coupe 6mt. no vdc issues at all.
you will have vdc issues when tires sizes are too different ...
example --> front 225/35/19 rear 245/40/19

On the OEM 19s is it possible to have the same size, say 245/40/19, all the way around? Are the front and rear wheels different sizes?

Yes it's possible. I'm currently running 245/35/19 on all corners. Front wheel is 8" wide and rear is 8.5". Now, I have no idea if it will affect vdc on the coupes since they came standard with staggered tire set up from factory, but my sedan worked fine with the oem coupe size tires and my current set up.
