lucky bastard. 2k a year? Damn son! They should just insure the car under their name and put you as a known driver. That would reduce the cost by 40-60%

I have clean record also this amount seems unreal. My friend also had this same problem when he got his audi a4. They quoted him at 5k per year which is still half the amount of my quote. I should just call and tell them to suck it for that price .

$95/month in Oklahoma, clean record, over 40. This is combined 04 G35, 97 F-150. Higher limits on liability and property (300K rather than 30K, for instance).

I'm paying $700 every six months for the G35 and another vehicle both with comprehensive/collision. I've got Progressive, they're cheap but some body shop friends that do insurance work have said Progressive hates to pay claims more than most.

You can usually get a really good discount for multiple vehicles, home ownership, being a student, excellent credit, low miles per year, and/or the crime rate where you park your vehicle. Of course no accidents and tickets helps a lot.

I don't know about going through Geico.. they quoted me like $600/6mo higher than what I got quoted for with AAA. I found using Costco's insurance thing pretty good for a quote, though AAA beat it still.

So I probably had the worst driving record you could have. I had some seirous accidents, one was came out to about $100,000 in damages that the insurance company had to pay. My first car was a Porsche 928 also. That said, the highest my insurance ever was at like 19 was $600 a month. I pretty much think it's impossible to get quoted for more than that with a somewhat clean record/g35.

DEAR GOD! 800 a month? Who are you going through? Al Queda Inc? Holy crap thats more than the payment for my G AND my bike!

I dont even remember paying that much when I was younger and was with Gieco (who are a bunch of thieves btw). You check with State Farm? They are pretty cheap. I'd say you're doomed if u have to pay that much.
