06-07 g35 coupe vs 09 honda accord coupe
This is where it comes down to...
Im only 20 yrs old, finally need a new car... currently driving 2002 subaru forester =/
anyways, saved some money to spend on it, and it's between a new car or used car.
sure new car is way to go, but g35's sex appeal is just.... hmm should i say?
I've been talking about g35's ever since it came out, and im leaning towards g35 more than the new 09 v6 accord...
trying to find a g35 coupe for 25k with navi and premium option... one that has decent miles on it, or accord v6 coupe for 30k...
real dilemma here. help me out

Where do you live? Do you deal with snow? The G35 and Accord coupe are completely different vehicles. I have actually owned both, an Accord V6 coupe 98 and an 03 G35 sedan. I LOVE my G. Mods are a bit more expensive and it isn't great in the snow, but, other than that, it is the best car I've ever owned. I sell cars and choose to drive my G most days instead of a demo from the lot.
If you expect lots of snow and don't have much snow driving experience, get the Honda. As I write this I forgot some of your original post so you might have answered this, but are you getting a car for school? If so, I might also recommend the Honda, maybe on a lease depending on how much you drive. You will have full warranty and I just feel like a Honda is a better car for college than an Infiniti. Ultimately, what will make your decision is what used cars are available when you have a blank check in your hand. Either way, you really can't make a bad decision here. A super nice, new-to-you, V6-powered sporty coupe is coming to you regardless. Good for you! Enjoy your new car.
...And welcome to Driver! You should find some pretty good info here.

I live in philly, due to global warming, rarely get any snow here... and plus i can always drive my suby for snow =)
anyways, g35's vq sound is just pure sex! can't stop wating it on youtube... it's like pink floyd. lol
and i test drove the g35 coupe at the local dealership... and thrust is just incredible, and plus it's alot more fun to drive than my friend's 06 lexus is250... that car is just a joke compare to g's

I'd say get a 06-07 g35. I work at valet parking in a hotel and drove almost every damn car there is from old beaten up oldsmobiles to maserati and porsches and g35 is one of my favorite cars to get in everytime except of course the >$100,000 exotics. Plus you will save the initial depreciation cost that comes with buying new cars.

If you care more about reliability i think Honda is the way to go than an Infiniti. Shops seem to be hiking their prices just because its a infiniti. ( at least for me).
But if you want a car that is alot more exciting and will proly give your selfesteem a boostt everytime you drive and put a smile on your face everytime you step on the gas, then definetly go for the G. You have a Subaru (my other love btw. lol), great on snow and all around bad weather so go for the RWD.
Let's just hope i cant at least be in a sedan soon. I have been looking at Civic Si's, Tc's and even TL's but for some reason at the end of the day i find my self posting here and i dont even have a G. I tried to rationalize and tell mysellf Hondas are reliable, safe, good on gas blah blah but then i watch this video of a G sedan with HKS exhaust and im like ef honda. lol

When I first started driving a year ago I used to gaze and stare at the G35's around here, which weren't that common. Well ever since that I started saving up money and just last month I put a big down payment on a 2004 G35 w/ nav and everything and I've been happy ever since. The car insurance is high.. but that is because of my age (19) and that it is a sports car. Even though the insurance is higher, I pump gas more frequently than my Camry, I still am happy everytime I sit in my car and drive away.

well, my suby's insurance is high, because it's considered as SUV... and it's categorized as sports car... weird how insurance works...
anyways, GIECO quote G35 coupe as $150 every month.
insurance is taken care of, but now.... i need to find a car.
Black? or Ivory Pearl?
either 06 or 07 with navi and low millage... under 25k

Black looks nice when clean and waxed, but G35's have bad paint. You should see the front end of my G35. I already need the front bumper repainted from all the chips and nicks.
Ivory Pearl looks hot. I'd take one in second with Stone interior
As for G35 vs '09 accord...well i can't tell you what to do. You are on a G35 board so everyone will say G35 here, but you need to look at your own finacials, how long you plan on keeping the car, insurance, if you are going to school, etc and determine what is the best choice for you to make in this situation

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods

In my honest opinion I love the looks of the new v6 accord coupes... I haven't driven one, but they look good. On the other hand I own a G35 coupe and I love the car more and more every time I get in her and start her up. You're going to hear G from probably 99% of the members here, and I'm going to have to agree. The G is a beautiful machine.
G35 FTW!
