My G35 is like a bad habit... but I like it!

This car has become an obsession…. I Bought the DG 06 coupe a few months ago. I immediately started having fun driving the car. I read tons of posts on the site and after seeing all the kewl cars, I added an HKS exhaust, plenum spacer and a pop charger... I love the HKS by the way.

Next came the stereo upgrade… can be seen here.

I knew I wanted a Turbo and new suspension, I looked around for a bit and decided on the PowerLab turbo kit from IntensePower.com. I dropped my car off on Friday and will hopefully pick it up this coming Saturday.

Along with the turbo I’m having the following work done:
  • Stance Coilovers
  • SPC Extreme front camber arm
  • IntensePower rear camber arm
  • Valve body upgrade for tranny
  • GT spec front tower brace
  • Works Bell paddle shifter

Now, when I get the car back I will only have it for a week, it will go in for new Paint, Glass and Tint. I was hit by a huge dust devil a few weeks ago and it caused a ton of external damage so the insurance is paying for most of this… I will be painting the roof & rear veil black the car will stay DG.

Next after my bank account recovers. I want new wheels, rims and a big brake kit. Sometime in the future I want to upgrade the tranny so I can play with more boost on the turbo.

The more I look at the cars on this site the more I want… when I first got the car someone said it would become an obsession and they were right.

I love driving this car, and I really hate being without it even for a short time… I really hope it turns out well.

I see nothing wrong with that... makes perfect sense. I mean, your were gonna need new wheels sometime.

Spoken like a true addict. "That stock intake tube would surely have worn out in like half a million miles. Better get that taken care of now at 41K, then you know you can sleep at night" Worked for me!
