It's a vendor out of Japan... they have an awesome inventory of JDM stuff for our cars (Skyline) that you just can't get this side of the Pacific. I was able to get the black JDM console for 138.00 with shipping, NISSAN said they are out but could ship by mid May.. I'm cool with that... 14 day turnaround from Japan.

I'll get the JDM A/C controller from one of our usual sources.. they wanted almost 300 bucks for it... (yea RIGHT!) They didn't have any with the dual temp button.. oh well.

I really wanted to use a JDM.. but only if it was black.. my interior is all black, so the silver would look cheap... since I have no silver what so ever in the interior, except for the door lock/openers.

check it out...

go to the middle of the listing, you'll see it, they offer it in silver, black and ecru.. it's called: "68520 LID CLUSTER, JDM Audio less version", which means, without the NAV system.

Hey guys... really nice setup. My 2003 has been acting up and the ac/audio unit is completely blacked out. Do you know if the double din kit will fix this problem? Would I still need a new circuit board with the kit..And where can I get one.

350....

If you can be sure that the ac/audio issue is strictly related to the OEM circuitboard controlling both items, then yes, a DDin would "fix" this problem in that:
1) You'd have a brand new, fully functional multimedia DDin unit
2) You'd have to purchase a brand new a/c controller for your JDM DDin setup

It'll be $400-1400 for a DDin unit (depending on what you get, Pio, Kenwood, Alpine, JVC)
and it'll be $300-350 for the JDM kit with the A/C controller

Install -- $100-200 depending on who you go with

meh... same problem for me, with willow.. JDM ac buttons are black, but they have no dual button. You can leave the black blank out button or use the willow one you have.

Pioneer P4100dvd - JDM dual air kit

Car was a bit messy from the install but you get the idea...

Pioneer AVH-P4100dvd
JDM kit with Dual Air
Planet Audio amp and speakers
Kicker 10 inch removable sub. (Does not move an inch until I want it to... can pop it right out)
Rear view camera
iPod kit

Used the hazard switch for video... click on then off to get video while moving.

One problem I did not ponder before the install was the way the unit loads and ejects disks. Cannot do it in park, the shfter gets in the way. Oops.

It's not perfect but overall I'm happy with the setup.

I will have the same problem as you with the shifter in the way. I just want to know if it is really a nuisance to deal with after a while? Also, how is the trunk sounding with that sub vibration wise? Is Dynamat or the equivalent a must?

On a positive note, the set-up looks good!

Thanks!

Did not need the Dynamat... I thought I might but its fine even with the bass set pretty high, which for me is rare but I did test it.

I cannot imagine the shifter thing will be a big issue for me. I use the iPod for most all my music and video. I can still change a disk while driving without any issues... so I don't think its a biggie. I just cannot believe I did not think about it before hand.

The one thing that is killing me is not having my steering wheel controls... I will be ordering the kit for that this week.

Good luck!

I'll be sourcing that stateside.. thank you!

They have a lot of other JDM stuff for our cars also.. worth a look...
