OMG, I'm so sorry to see that carnage. They did an immense amount of damage to your center console, the grill isn't very expensive.

It makes me want to install some sort of booby trap behind my head unit. If someone does that to my car, they'll lose a hand.

yeah i know it blows im just trying to get my stuff back to what it was but my insurance has a 1000$ deductible so i have to find a way or a shop that can help me cover that in san antonio and also there trying to not pay for my screen or dash kit anyone have any suggestions on how to handle this?

Did you install the double din kit and stereo before or after you got insurance? When I signed my current insurance policy with Allstate, I made sure that my dash and stereo are covered under the policy. If I hadn't done that (and paid a little bit extra), they wouldn't have covered any of the damage to the aftermarket stereo.

I think that if you had the stereo when you signed your policy, you have some grounds to argue, but if you installed it after you got the insurance, it may be more difficult. I can't tell you for sure since policies are all different, even within the same company.

well i had just installed it and had it for 2 days so i did not have time to do anything which sucks but hopefully I end up coming out with my car without scratches and back to what it was because it blows driving with no window or radio
