Not matter how close he got the color, if the metallic is different then it will look like it has a different "flop" in the light. I could talk color for days so just bring it back and ask him if this is somthing he can do.

Now this is an expensive paint job

dammm that color is sick as hellll..a lil flashy for my taste but looks real good. i wish i knew how to paint and do body work like you but yea ill deffinatly have the guy try again and find some way to get the metallic closer...u would say cleaning it with the metallic cleaner is the best way?
p.s. if you have any pictures of a paint job with like black to gray or something like that ive always wanted to see how it looked, like a metallic black with a gray tint to it

ooops i meant static cleaner..
if the plastic bumper has less static it will take longer to dry, making it more like the metallic color on the metal parts?

i think im gettting it

i have the exact same problem. 05 coupe DG. some lady backed into my rear bumper and i had to have it replaced and repainted (by a highly recommended body shop). when i picked the car up it was sunny out and the paint looked good. now when its cloudy out you can tell the rear bumper is much darker. but up close it looks identical. ill post pics later.
