I haven't changed mine since I bought the car new! I have a service appointment coming up. Mental note to self have dealer replace cabin filter

Wow... I first changed mine after about 25k. It was a lil' dark, that's all. Changed out for a carbon filter. Now, I check it regularly. Every few month I change out my air freshner I place on top of the filter.

Do it yourself and save a lot of $$$. Will take you 15-20 minutes at the most.

Yup... definitely the nasty.
Mine (the 04) had a mouse nest right from the dealer.
I thought mine was bad, but yours definitely gets the nod for worst ever.

Wonder what the blower blades look like...slice/dice o'matic

haha. we see this kinda **** all the time at the toyota dealership, rats mice, snakes, birds.. yah.... rats are the worst and smell horrible.. once they die in your car it take forever to get that smell out. we were quoted 2grand for this company to completly remove the smell when a rat died in the back of a brand new rav4.
