It stories like this that makes me never want to take my car to the dealership. Really cannot trust anyone with your car these days. Sucks. Good luck and I hope these *******s get what they deserve!

 

WTF??? sue their a**es man there's no way they should be able to CHARGE you for that..esp if it has more things wrong w/ it then when you took it in!!! They're Liable...that'd be like you getting yoru car back with bunch of gashes out of the paint when you get it back and them charging you for it??

 

Can we just call your visit to the Stealership a Nightmare? We've seen this kinda thing happen so often, Infiniti mechanics don't have a clue how to work on or fix our cars or maybe the service writer gave it to the "Lot Boy" to fix. Call Infiniti's number, let them know the dealership messed up your car and you want it fixed right....don't take no for an answer! I'd be pissed too.... This is why I'd never take my coupe to the dealership unless it was warranty work....never!

I'm not sure how Infiniti Consumer Affairs works because I've never called, but what about calling again and seeing if there is another rep who will help you. You never know when you find someone having an off day, and not helping you b/c they dont feel like it.

Again, I'm sure this isn't the situation, but give it a try. Can't hurt right?

And the dealer is retarded for ruining your car and not offering to fix it. I think the negative publicity might help you more than Infiniti would in this case.

 

if you sue them it will cost you wayyy more than just a simple fix..its not that easy to sue someone or else everyone would do it

 

okay so ended up going to infiniti and i was totally ready to make a scene. but i didnt need to, i told him i was there to get my car diagnosed and he knew i was pissed so he sent me to talk to the tech. the tech was more then happy to come and scan the car for me on his own time. very nice guy i wish he was the one who worked on my car. he was shocked at what they did to my car and couldnt figure out what was wrong with the car. we pulled up the following codes and i didnt end up paying a penny
ive done some research and it seems like the Airflow sensor got tampered with and now i have to fork out $600+ for a new one

why would you buy another bose unit for $1500, if you can get a dash kit and a nice aftermarket kenwood navigation headunit for that price.

 

Dude if you weren't having any actual engine problems BEFORE you went in, and NOW you do, then THEY fawked something up, and it is their responsibility to FIX what they BROKE. /end

 

hey chopstixx what year you got..i got a 06 sedan and ill be looking to sell my bose unit soon

 

no no no the bose unit is only $325 +$200(diagnostic free i paid) + $600airflow sensor(they ****ed up) and then labour for all that so yah about 1500

they wont fix anything cuz they denied the fact that they even did anything that would mess up the car. i tried everything i guess i got no choice but find ebay items

 

Airflow sensor? What year is your car chopstixx? There's a chance you might still be under the emissions warranty, and they'll have no other choice but to fix it for free. Check your warranty booklet.

 

you can always clean your MAF sensor and check the fusebox behind the battery.. are your taillights and clear corner lights working? when my clearcorner lights blew a fuse, the interior dash lights went out and the taillights went out.. it was the fuse in the fusebox behind the battery, I think the first top left one

 

do you have a cold air intake installed? sometimes those cause the MAF to act up.. try swapping back to stock

we checked everything and its just a mystery
