I hate my black g35 coupe!!!!

My G35 is a dust magnet!! No matter how many times i wash or polish it....it manages to collect a ton of dust and dirt! And Infiniti's paint is like crap. the slightest touch will either scratch or chip it! This is a luxury/sports car....what gives!!??? I'm regretting getting black.

Same here, I have the same problems as you guys do. I've been lazy so it's been a few weeks since I washed my car.

I dunno guys...Black is way too high maintenance. It looks great at night....but when the sun hits it at the right angle....OMG every imperfection stands out. I wash it at least 2 times a week. I'm starting to wonder if going back and fourth with a microfiber rag is causing a static cling...

lol welcome to owning a black car. Yes unfortuneatly our paint is very soft and fragile, so take care of it. Invest in quality washing products, a california duster, and dont go to automatic car washes (touchless is okay). Most of the imperfections come from improper washing and drying.

Get a California duster and trade in for a 2009 with scratch-healing paint.

Dark car regrets....sometimes. =)

I guess I'm not the only one with a CA. duster for each hand.... I keep my G in the garage and it gets dusted prior to driving every day. I also do a "one around" with detail spray and micro towels after dusting. Our cars are like magnets, I drive past someone cutting their grass and I'll have grass on my sides....Grrrrr My next car will be IP then I can spend more time playing golf!

I love my black G I never and will never regret getting it. You'll just have to dust it off every morning that's what we get for having a black car!!!

^+1. Sure it gets dirty easily, but you can't beat it when it's clean.
