Has the OP not realized how many of these threads there are? We all know this will end up nowhere

And it's acutally going somewhere.
Why have statistics in 2007 (found a thread in 2007) when you can have the most recent?

I've had 2 G35 coupes, both were 5AT. I didn't buy this car to go fast or even as a sports car, I just like the way it looks and it has some scoot to it too when I need to pass somebody.
I also don't let kids who trash talk autos bother me, somebody that equates their masculinity with what transmission they have in their car needs to grow up.

If you want stats just talk to one of the dealer vendors on here they'll tell you.Originally Posted by SxSkyLinexS

IIRC, this data HAS been posted here.
....also any data here is skewed, it doesn't reflect real world data.

Yep, was going to say the same thing. The sample size is way too small and it only reflects people on this site who choose to answer. And the people on this site lean towards the younger and enthusiast end of the spectrum, so I would bet there's a far greater percentage of 6MT owners on here than the sales figures would indicate. Even if you get 200 answers, there are thousands of members here, and hundreds of thousands of these cars have been sold. Sample size is everything in statistics.Originally Posted by InTgr8r

I have a 2006 G35 Coupe, these cars are not sports cars therefore an auto suits me fine. If I had a Porsche or Corvette with 500HP+ then an automatic would be out of the question.

This poll is dumb....
Make a different poll....
AUTO DRIVERS POLL
- I wish I bought a MT when I had the chance.
- i LOVE AUTO!!!
- I love AUTO but.... I wish it was MT when people look in at my interior.

There was just a thread that sparked the same debate.
