I have a bluebat roof overlay and I'm going to remove it and get it painted. The overlay just looks dull. You will never be able to get a piece of gloss black vinyl to shine like a good deep gloss black paint job. I've tried everything to get this overlay to shine like a gloss black paint job. Just can't be done.

obviously those shops don't know what they are doing.

roof overlays are popular on a lot of cars nowdays.

find a reputable shop that KNOWS what they are doing

Yeah I think Im gonna try a roof overlay first since it's not a permanent solution, but if I don't like the way it looks Im going to end up painting it, I haven't really heard too many bad comments about roof overlays so I'm gonna try it out..

if you dont like it its only 100 versus like ~300 bucks for a PERMINANT paint
