Friday night I was downstairs watching a movie with my girlfriend when her brothers friend came down to say he "owed me a new bumper"...

The only reason he still has all his teeth is because he's paying 100% for the repairs.

Lifted pathfinder with the rear bumper removed...

Sorry for the large pics, I'm at work right now and don't have any software to format them with.

So, that's what the lil' taillight sidemarker bulb looks like.
Read threads about that bulb going out and people taking it to the dealership for a fix and the dealership wants to buy a whole new taillight.
By the looks of it, that bulb is an easy swap.

Sorry, for the random tangent. Sorry, you're the guinea pig for me to figure that out.
At least the guy's taking responsibility. Hope you get your G back to 100% quickly.

He didn't hit anything other than the bumper, lucky for him. He pushed up the bumper and the tail lamp cover exploded.

No damage to the trunk or side, just the bumper. The clip might be broken too though. I just had driving around my G until next thursday like this because some dumbass didn't look behind him.

Some of the LEDs are burnt out as a result of it being exposed to the elements, does anyone know if a replacement tail light comes as an entire assembly with bulbs harness and all?

All the parts were ordered from Nissan/Infiniti

A replacement taillight will come with everything. Just bolt it up and plug it into your existing wire harness. Will work just like new... er... before.

+1! If your insurance company will let you shop for a new bumper yourself, you can probably find a bumper for sale by forum vendors for a lot cheaper than the OEM bumper quoted from bodyshops or Nissan/Infiniti stealerships.

Meh, he's the one paying, if anything I want him to spend more. I don't want anything non-OEM. Thanks for the tip though.

I've been parking my car rear-in my garage now so I don't have to look at it when I come out to my car...lol.
