My little nephew pulled down on the shift stick while I had my foot on the brake and the car turned on, now the shift stick its stuck on tiptronics and wont move back to auto.

There's also no display on the dashboard that says what gear the car is on, it just blank, and now I cant even take out the key.

could there be a blown fuse or something thats making the stick not move or something, am desperate here

seeing this thread and reading that other thread make really worried about buying a G now. maybe this is a good thread for me to scare my mom into letting me buy a manual. lol

 

Yeah? Wait til you have your clutch stick to the ground and you'd be like dammnnnn should've gotten an auto

 

^^^^ Hahaa... I didnt know there was problems like this with the manual too. Anyway now i think i shouldn't even get a G. I donno we will see, i cant make up mind btwn the wrx and the g.

 

Lol it can happen with any car....happened to my Benz c300 a while ago
