I've had so much of this squeaking/creaking happen.
First I thought it was springs.. Put on brand new coils.. Still there..
My tailights were missing nuts that hold them in place.. put on new nuts. Fixed some of the noise but the creaking was still there.
Found it its my bushing on the control arms of the car.

heres is something i just posted somewhere else on here, maybe it will help. its sounds like my problem exactly.
i attempted to find my annoying creak in the inside toward the back, which happens when i go over big bumps or turning into my driveway over small curb/ramp up when the car is twisted up.
i FOUND my problem, there is a gray cross brace behind the seats and some sound proofing mat, those screws/bolts were very loose and when i tightened them the creak went right away ! that saved me some coin from going to the dealer out of warranty !
i suggest if you have the creak in the rear that sounds loud inside tighten up everything you can find behind the seats(you have to take the seats out, buts it easy)
i have a G35X sedan.
remove lower back seat.
remove velcro from center armrest flap and flap from back of seat(velcro)
remove center armrest
remove seat bolts and or nuts, i think there was 4 per seat.
remove sound proof matting behind seat.
the brace is gray, should be 4 screw per side to tighten, hell just tighten EVERYTHING UP !
that should do it !

When you refer to removing the seat bottom, you mean just the seat cushion or the back of the seat as well? I have never removed a seat, like Ive changed brake pads and oil changes, but I guess on a difficulty level, is it pretty similar?

You have to remove the seat. There is no other way to do it. It's very easy and only takes 10-20 minutes.
There are instructions in this thread for a Sedan. You do not need to remove the rear shelf.

i had creaking issues to after puttin on coils and sways...thought it was coils, but it wasnt so then thought it was sways. too them off put factory ones on and it was still there. after a few weeks finally got a friend to take a closer look at it and it was the upper control arms (b/c lower was replaced wen coils put on)...
