How to get my 2005 G35 5AT to match or exceed the performance of my old car?

Forced induction on naturally aspirated cars IMO has been way too many headaches to deal with. I would just like a nice 13 second car with high reliability. I know it seems like forced induction is an easy way to make the power but the car always needs more supporting mods than the just the kit and tons of tuning time and dyno time. Theres all the gauges, the brake upgrades, vented hoods, fuel system, etc.. that makes it much more involved. This is the reason I would like to attempt over time to meet the performance of my last car in NA form.

cobalt ss is a much faster car. you upgraded in ride but not in 1/4 mile. should of got a 07 HR 350Z if you wanted a faster car.

but enjoy your G, do basic bolt on's and you'll b happy. G prefers top end rather than 1/4 mile passes.

I traded in my srt4 neon for the G. Miss the srt4 but the G is more of a mature vehicle and being faster than the car next to you wont mean a thing as time goes.
