smooth clutch

Ive been searching and still haven't found a good response so here I go. I got an 07 g coupe and it feels like my clutch is smooth all the time when pressed down and while shifting, isn't it supposed 2 grip more when shifting or harden or is it always smooth?

I wish I had your problem. I HATE how the clutch feels/shifter feels. And I can't seem to get shifting the G to a science...Even a year later.

Its not tat hard I got it quick and I upgraded from a civic. But ever since I got it from the dealer like 6 months ago I felt te clutch easy and smooth. The shifter is stiff thas fine juss the clutch. Now the car has 10,500 miles and its still the same.. would the dealer be able to help or am I just dumb and that's how it is? Someone help!

It probably feels smooth because our clutch pedals have an assist spring that helps make our pedal move with less effort. It also masks the feeling of the pressure plate on the clutch disk.

You can read more about it here https://g35driver.com/forums/v36-diy...t-feeling.html
That is for the 2nd gen but the 1st gen clutch pedals are similar.
