I agree, it sounds like what BloodlineG was talking about with the mat if the pedal was physically stuck and the brakes aren't working. If the pedal isn't stuck and the car is still accelerating, the throttle body this may be the cause.

But damn... that sound clip was pretty chilling to hear...
