Hmm...wonder if I should sell my 2007 and get a 2006. I'd still make a slight profit off of it.

why do some 2007 g35s have 17 inch rims while others have those 19 inch rims yet they are both "premium packages."

The 19" rims were part of the "Sport" package, not the premium.

I went with the 06 because of the overal price difference and not much difference in miles.

I think the only real difference is going to be that the car is newer so it will probably have less miles and more of the factory warranty left.

good luck with the hunt!

I have an 07 just found out my brake rotors and calipers are bigger for some stupid reason. FOUND OUT AFTER I order all new brakes

Take a picture of the calipers and post it here.

Basically there are 3 different calipers available on the G35, 2003-2004 with brembo, 2003-2004 without brembo, 2005-2007 coupe and 2005-2006 sedan.

You probably ordered calipers/pads for the 2003-2004 non-brembo.

Or someone put either the Brembos or 2009+ Akebono's on your car.

I found out after the fact that the 2006 and 2007 coupes have slightly larger rotors and calipers than the 2005 and below (all non-brembo). It’s kind of difficult to find out what parts match my car sometimes because of the weird 2007 models with the sedan getting the HR motors and what not

It would definitely be worth cross-checking with the 2006 coupe anytime you buy parts because it should be the same as that year. as far as I'm aware there was absolutely no change whatsoever between the 2006 and 2007 coupe.
