Low Tire Pressure Question

For about a month or so, my low tire pressure light has been on. I have no idea why it is on because I have checked all four tires numerous times, and they are all within the 30-33 PSI range.

I did look at the tires though, and this is what the rear tires look like.

So, I was just wondering if the tread could possibly have anything to do with the low tire pressure light?

Thanks!

Tread has nothing to do with the TPMS. Battery in your sensors is most likely your problem. I would go to a dealer nearby and see if it possibly a defect.

Yeah, I am taking it in soon for other reasons anyway.
On a side note, should I have my tires changed because of how bald they are? Or is it fine to keep them on?

What is 2/32"?
Also, in both pictures, there is something that looks like a flap. Both flaps look like they are missing a screw. Or is it supposed to be like that?

You need an alignment too bro. The way the tire thread is worn worse on the inner part of the tire is sign of this.

The inside of your tires being worn like that means that you're running too much camber or too much toe-out, or both. Get the alignment checked, and replace those tires before you skid out in the rain and hit something.

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
Your driver side tire is showing the steel belts which is a blow out waiting to happen. Change those today, they are dangerous!!!!!

Your tires were worn out 5000+ miles ago. Are you serious about asking whether they should be replaced? There is no tread and your belt is showing. That is highly dangerous to you and other drivers.

Get an alignment done at the same time. Have the TPMS checked out also.

I took my car in today, and they are replacing the tires and fixing some other things. I had no idea that these tires were that close to blowing out. I am glad I took it in.
Thanks for all the answers!
