Opinion on 04 G35 Coupe

Hello everyone I was thinking about purchasing a 04 G35 but very confused. I been reading reviews at Edmunds and I was just wondering if its true that there is lot of rattling in the dash, brakes needed replacement every year, ride is very hard, and drinks lots of gas. Can anyone tell me what they think of their G35. I love the looks of the car. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks. Oh the car was selling for 16,500 is that a good price. Thanks again.

Rattling in the dash<-- dont have this.
I think 1 year for brake replacement is pretty good but it all depends on how you brake. most cars don't even get 1 year on brakes. And your so cheap to spend like $70 a year on brakes?
My ride is pretty soft way better than the rsx I use to own.
Gas really depends on the driving you do but I usually get 19mpg and I have a heavy foot.
16.5k for 04 g35 is overpriced. you can get 05 with that kind.
You're better of with a prius if gas and brake pads are an issue for you.

It drinks gas because its a V6. If you can't afford the gas then get a 4 banger

16.5 for a 04 coupe doesn't sound bad, depending on mileage and condition.

i have an 04 coupe 6MT with the brembo package i get between 19-20mpg city driving and about 27mpg highway i typically get about 330-350 miles to a tank city and over 400 hwy I got new brakes around February of last year and looking to replace them some time in the next month the reason it might be said that it drinks alot of gas is because it has a 20 gallon tank and takes premium. As far as rattling in the dash i have it every once in awhile and its semi annoying when it happens but i put up with it for the one time every 3 months it happens i picked up my 04 last May and have not regretted it since. i paid 16000 with 34000 on the meter. and in my experience 6MTs tend to run a little higher then the 5AT. you got to watch out with this car because the mod bug will get you

All of those are straight up lies.

Code; you can't say thats too much you have no idea how many kms are on and it and what kind of shape it's in or what options it has.

Gas isn't bad on these cars at all, I've gotten 6.6L/100km in my G that's on par with an Accord. (27MPG)?? I get about 12.9L/100kms in the city.

The brakes, the gas drinking and the hard ride.

The brakes don't go every year whoever said that doesn't own one and it's a sports luxury car, it's a hell of a lot comfier than most "sports" luxury cars.

The rattles, are fixable. My car has 0

Yea but it's not once a year.

Do a search for rattle exorcism or something like that. That's a DIY.

Mine never had a tonne to begin with. The most rattley thing in my car in my ipod bouncing off the dock.

It's that delaware traffic man. lol

I dunno then, friend of mine has brembos on his G and he hasn't done them in like 2 years and they still seem fine maybe another couple months out of them. His brother also has a WRX with brembos and it's brakes have held up great. (they have similar brembo kits)
