service engine light

Hi guys I turn on my ignition and saw that "service engine soon" light it wasn't blinking I did not start up my car yet. After I start up my car I did not see the service engine anymore is that normal? Is that light suppose to stay on solid when I turn the key to ignition only? Thanks for the help.

All your lights, light up when you put the car in ACC before turning it on. You're fine totally normal!

you are fine but anybody with an obdii car should have one of these:

Amazon Amazon

if your car throws a code and the ses light come on it will tell you what threw the code, it will erase the code, and will turn off the the ses light. It pays for itself the first time you need to use it.

Dash lights up like a Christmas Tree....=)

Supprised you didn't notice that everything on the dash lights up just prior to starting your G. It's only when something stays on that you need to be concerned....
