Exclamation Warranty Work

Alright so im at 57K right now on my 06Coupe, Soon I will be going to the dealer for my last use of my Warranty.....

What are some suggestions I should have looked at before my warranty is avoided.

What are some things you have got fixed/done under warranty.

So far the only thing i could take my car in for was the driver side seat tear.

I dont want to realize something thing after its too late and be like damn I wish i could of taking it in for that while I had the warranty.

Thanks!

I'm sure you've already gotten the engine check for oil consumption issues...

just think about parts on your car that might go bad... haha

also, since your'e on the coast of Florida, check for any rust damage; it is warrantied..

Haha, have them check it for creeks and rattles. I have one coming from under my steering wheel that's driving me nuts.

Beside looking at all of the exterior and underhood parts of the car, I would put it on a lift at other than a dealer and get a good look at the bottom without the help of someone from the dealer who has a vested interest. Look for seal leaks everywhere, grab wheels and move the suspension around, look for rusty areas, look at everything. Once you have a good list of concerns then go to the dealer and see what can be fixed on a voluntary basis and then pressure them for what should be fixed as well. You may need to make this a two step process as it is not always advisable to complain while your car is being worked on.

Well they have the seat in order, I got them to fix the carpet that was coming off....

However I did tell them about the excessive rattle issue the manager told me they do not pay him to check for rattle noise?! He brought up the fact that after the year warranty is over they do not do that....i was kind of pissed...

Thank god I do not have a oil consuption issue...I went w/ out changing my oil for almost 7k and no noise or anything.

What are some main issues that G35's have?

What are the common issues of the 2006 G35?

Any other Help before I'm out of warranty... Thanks!
