Already feels slow

Hi guys,
So I finally ran across a thread that I have been wanting to write about myself. I had a mustang gt for several years 7 to be exact and could not wait to get to a jdm car because it would be a lot easier to gain the performance part, so I thought.
All of my friends mostly have sti's and I love the car, however not so much the looks, so I said that I would get a G and do the same thing if not better. So far I have spent money on the COBB accessport, exhaust, CAI, headers, pulleys, clutch, short shifter and still the car feels like its not even able to keep up with an sti?
What the hell man? Im really considering to save to get a turbo, however is it even worth it? With all the money spent so far, I have not seen any results?
Anyone that can prove me wrong?

My bad the SRT4 was supposed to say SRT8 then I realized you said 6s
330 still stands 335 had me confused
Even some 328s I've seen take Gs
SRT6 Crossfire 12 or less
Lexus IS350 14ish on par with G
E36 M3 13.5
e46 M3 13 or less
S2000 is a 4 cylinder NA.... and faster
Want more?

Wait, I'll make it easy for you:
^^^ your car is not 300hp... compare it to other 260-280 6 cylinder cars.
Let's be realistic here people. This 6 cylinder semi luxury sports car is not intended to compete with an 8 cylinder sports car.
If you want to compare apples to apples - tell me/us what car in the G35 class out-performs it. Keep price, engine size and luxury comparable.
I'll give you a hint - there aren't any.

for someone that recently wrote this in another thread:
you really need to keep learning.

I've been to a few track events in the past and I've seen several twin turbo G's hitting low 13's. I have never seen a G hit 12's. I don't attend these track events anymore so maybe things have changed.
But a twin turbo G hitting low 13's.. That is pretty sad. Our car is just too heavy. Period..

THIS G HIT 11 FLAT. YOU LOSE!

It was not made for strip, but does pretty fair there. It wasn't made for tracking but some have made it do fairly well there. What it does is provide you with a good riding car that handles very well and does so at fairly high speeds in a comfortable surrounding.

Juniorbass, who are you referring to?

S2k I have seen kill a G first hand. PURE straight line. The S2k had and intake, G had spacer, exhaust and intake. both standard.
328, also seen this done. One of my good friends has a 328 and it kept up rather well. Auto to auto.
Is350 Most definitely does keep up, just not right off the line.
M3s and 330s are extremely affordable, how are they not in the same class?
Majority of those cars have a smaller engine than the G.

2nd; an M3 is substantially more expensive than a G35 (you really seem misinformed).
You simply aren't going to find a car with the same size engine in the same price point with the same level of sport/luxury that will beat a g35 - it really is that simple - no matter how much you want to deny it.
