do you guys use the fuel economy meter?

do you guys use the fuel economy meter?
if you do, do you think it affects the way you drive and affect your gas mileage?

i use it... i try to keep it around 14 or 15 to ensure im driving FTW at all times lol... i dont do much highway drivin either...and i reset it everytime... the "best" i got for a full tank was 13.7...i saw it as an achievement...and my commute is like 7 miles to work everyday...i couldnt care less about gas mileage or prices

i think we should start to transition this thread to speak to how low the mpg can go...not how high... if anyone on the site is looking at gas mileage, thats f'n crazy my friends......but on a side note, that dude above that got 10-11. you are my hero. im gonna try my best to get down that low. good job!!!

lol ^ I reset my meter when I did my 1/4 runs I was doing 17mpg after 10 runs lol

i don't know guys. i literally got the car just last week and it's my first manual car. i think i'm pretty light on the pedal and i haven't even gone on the highway yet and i shift at 3k and i'm still getting 10-11...i don't get it!! lol =[
