I'm gonna assume you're NOW having this problem. The problem, mine anyway, has cleared itself TWICE with due time (usually a week or so). It seems to happen every time I make major changes to the electronics (swap stereo, leave battery disconnected for a long time). It has gone away after a while, I can only imagine it's some sort of static that's triggering a sensor or something. Not sure, but mine has stopped after a week, both times I changed the stereo (about a year apart).

does anyone have any idea where the sensor is for the hood and so on...
I have a 03 sedan and same issues never had this problem until tonight but i'll tell u what i work in t minus 4 hrs and been up trying to catch the doush bag creeping around my car. Now realizing that it's just randomly going off to my knowledge. it has now done it 3 times in the past 2 hrs or so fingets crossed it wont again.

my situation is it's getting cold where we live so thought temp may be causing the battery to fluctuate causing the alarm to go off.. or my buddy earlier set off the alarm by hitting panic and obveously I shut it off, but thought that maybe he jamed it in there or something simmilar.

I currently am setting on my sofa looking at my car 9 in hand and a cup of coffee looking at my key fob that i have rigged so no contacts can touch but if the alarm goes off i'll be able to get it off.
But I suppose i'll now be up as long it takes to talk my self to sleeping for 4 hrs.

on a second note it did it again... it stayed off for about a hour or so maybe a lil longer then went off again and I was sick of it. I went down and disconected the battery..............

Does anyone know about the driver door?? I disconnected the battery and now my key wont open my driver door. Im not sure if the dealer didnt re hook my key part when they had to fix my window or if it has to have power to actualy get in to the car case now im screwed..... im locked out with the set of keys in my hand......

If anyone knows about the key section and needing power or not let me know asap please!!!

So now im setting 155 in to it and no fix cause they said that they thought that that was it or creating the problem.

Happened to meI unplugged the car horns for a period of time and replugged them and the problem went away. Now that the weather is getting colder the problem has resurfaced.

Soo mine was the cold and the moisture in the air was causing the sensor to trip out. Whoever had the car before me bumped the front end on something snd Bairly tweeked the hood and because the sensor was not pushed down just enough it would have fits constantly. Soo all in all the hood sensor was my issue. I adjusted my hood, you could just unplug the sensor but thats up to you.
