Best Tuning Software

I just got the kinetix ssv manifold paired with a injen cold air intake. Exhaust is next on my list and then its time to tune my car. I was thinking about going to a professional and paying the big bucks... but i was also considering buying tuning software and playing around with it myself and a licensed mechanic. I work at an auto shop and he thought it would be cool to play around with tuning software.

Whats the best software for the money and any thoughts ? Strategy's?

Thanks

Cobb released a free version of it's tuning software last year, you can do what the other ones can do but you'll save a ton on the software.

^^ i will look into that as well. That might be the way to go for now. Get the cable from OBD2 to usb and get the free software.

Have you used it before?
