I've done it, but with a different one from eBay. Mine wasn't the square.

another word of advice,
whey you get it there are no instructions - take everything from your old fob and i mean everything that you can pull apart from the fob and transfer it over to the folding key...

there are american ebay sellers who ship it fast but sell the whole key with remote but i don't know how much it is to program the chip since only the dealer can do that??? the remote you can do yourself easily i know that

There's a seller on ebay selling the complete flip key. All you have to do is get it cut and programmed. No need to take ur chip and remote internals apart. The thing is, its $50...

i dont have the exact style the OP states but i have this flip key.
I had this for almost a year now and the only problem is the casing
chips easy as you can see from the pic. But i plan on painting it lol.
I love my flip key.

Wow, that looks beat up after a year.. Which one did you get? The one that included the internals and chip? Is the case metal? Wonder if we can powdercoat it for a more durable finish. It might be to thin.

So you got this one.

The $50 one includes the internals and chip. I might just go ahead and give the rectangular one a shot.

All u do is take out the OEM transponder chip in your OEM key. Then 3M tape the chip inside the case, transfer the buttons etc . Then have your key cut
