u can superglue the trans chip to your new remote,
before putting the old fob gut into your new remote - remove the key portion of the new remote and go and cut it first and test it on your car - then if it fits well - then assemble everything together - the remote is too big for some locksmith to fit in their cutting machine

I didn't put the internals in yet. I have to get it cut 1st. You have to gut your current remote and stick it in the new case.

^That green thing on the bottom of the key is like a drawer, just use a small eyeglasses type screwdriver and pull it out.

There is a guy on our local forums here that makes and sells those.. Charges $45 and he programs and cuts the key for you.. I didn't get one because I dont want a Nissan logo on the key but I felt and tried them out and they do feel top notch quality.

Even if you somehow manage to break the key off in your ignition, All you'd have to do is pull it out. There is about 1/4" of the key that is uncut at the top where it connects to the flipper.

I am waiting for mine to come in the mail. Does anyone have the infiniti logo to replace the Nissan logo that comes with the folding key?
