I'll wait for Zacks contacts - as I trust the source (no offense to whoever you talked to)
My work paid for it haha and it was an 800 number, it's on the rays site. It's the number to their Osaka headquarters. At the end of the conversation they informed me they have an office in California lol.

I couldn't tell you who I talked to I talked to about 6 people with Japanese names that I couldn't remember for the life of me.

• RAYS Co., Ltd.
Headquarters:
2-4-7, Nagata Nishi, Higashiosaka-shi, Osaka
TEL.06-6787-1110

RAYS U.S.A. INC.
NEW 3303 Harbor Boulevard, Suite H-1, Costa Mesa, CA 92626, U.S.A.
COSTA MESA COMMERCE PARK H-1
TEL.714-708-2211

Someone call the costa mesa guys and ask them, but they are hella USDM not hella JDM so I trust the Japanese guys more.

I called the US reps (Mackin) when this thread started... they said they didn't think Rays made them, but weren't sure (I mentioned it in a post)...

I can't find 800 # on the Rays site http://www.rayswheels.co.jp/indexe.html

I didn't, the guy had rather broken English and was translating to another guy who was answering the questions. He did try to be as helpful as possible though.

Call the Costa Mesa guys and ask them if they know, you're not too far from them.

Edit; is that the number you called?

the number on the site doesn't work... I called mackin and spoke to Brian - he's who I always deal with about Volk, he's very knowledgeable about the brand so I figured if anyone would know he would... but as I said, he doesn't think Rays made them but isn't sure. Which is why I asked Zack to check his sources...

Your info is as close as anyone has gotten - but I cant find the 800 number you called... do you have it?

It should be stored on my dialed numbers at work, but it actually ended up going to an operator who redirected me. I told her who I was looking for and then this # 06-6787-1110 she said that wasn't a number because there is a number missing. (assuming the first number of the area code?) but then she hung up and the phone started ringing through.

She spoke very clear English though...

The American number on the site doesn't work?

BTW; the 800 number was supposed to be a line to VolkJapan. Not rays.

Rays is Volk are you saying there is a "Volk" specific location/number?

no 714 # doesn't work... Mackin is he US rep though - you can reach them.

Link the number you called... not in your phone, but you have the source that you got the number right?

I'm looking for it.

Yea Rays is Volk, this was a contact number for Volk Japan. Not Rays engineering. But as I said, it went to an operator anyways. The number came from a wheel distributor.

Does anyone call Japanese numbers directly? or will it just go to an operator no matter what you call? This was my first time ever calling that part of the world....

It will go direct. Just like if you call your home from Japan. If it's a bad number or if you dail it wrong, it might direct you to an operator.

To call the Japanese number, you'll have to dial 011 (int call) + 81 (Japan country code) + the Japanese phone number. My friend in Japan has been away on business for the past few weeks... I haven't heard back from him yet, but when I do I'll post up any info I get.

thanks Zack... I've been waiting to hear your findings... for me that's the most solid confirmation.

its been mentioned a bunch of times... they make the G37 wheels so of course they probably make others...

We are discussing first gen G35.

I'm as interested as everyone else to find an absolute... but what has been given thus far (by everyone including me) is inconclusive... which again, is why I wait for the only source I know of that might have the "factual' answer.
