wrong guy - you quoted me, but I think you were asking the other guy...

I'm not sure he's aware that these are made in Japan - and apparently isnt aware that the the G does have (some) cast wheels and that the are made by Rays...

Oh yea I know, I just knew he'd read it. Had to quote you because I was talking about where they're made.

Still amazes me that some people thing Infiniti is ACTUALLY nissan's North American counterpart.

I've seen a few G's with 18 Rays. 19 rays are everywhere. Never seen any 16's or 17's

The entire car was built in Japan - what makes you think they wouldn't use a company in Japan... you think they cast wheels in TN and ship them to Japan to be installed then ship the car to the US? Or do you think they ship the G from Japan without wheels and the install the non-Rays forged here?...

I dont know what you are trying to say - but much of it has been wrong... and I'm hoping to win a set of wheels (I need a decent spare)
was not suggesting that at all. assembled, yes. and FYI, they are not built in japan either. US, canada and mostly mexico. if your car came all the way from japan, youre sitting on gold

WIKIPEDIA:
"The Infiniti name is not used in Japan, so most Infiniti models are sold under the Nissan"

NISSAN WEBSITE:
"Nissan North America - U.S. Manufacturing
Nissan has three production plants in the United States - in Smyrna and Decherd, Tennessee, and Canton, Mississippi. Production at Nissan's Smyrna Plant began in June 1983. The vehicle assembly plant has an annual production capacity of 550,000 vehicles"

"Nissan Mexicana
Nissan Mexicana, S.A. de C.V., (NMEX), was established in 1961 as an importer and distributor of Datsun vehicles. In 1966, NMEX began producing vehicles, including the Sentra for North America, and became the first Japanese-owned automobile production facility in North America."
