Is it my tank or the pumps??????
I've been noticing that recently every time I go to the pump and I'm filling up it always stops early and wont let me fill up all the way. And at first i thought it was the shell up the street had f'd up pumps cause its kinda old but then i noticed that really where ever i go its kind of like a coin toss if it works.
Any one had this problem or am just **** out of luck when it comes to pumps...

Two things:
Fuel level sending unit is fouling (which is common with our cars)
OR
There is something obstructing the flow of gasoline into your tank, making the pump think that the tank is full.

There was a recall on gas tanks having your issue. I believe they replaced the inlet tube. Call Infiniti and ask or do a SEARCH under gas tank issues here on Driver.

I've had this happen once or twice, but I realized that each time I'd left the car running while I filled up. Haven't done that since, and haven't had the problem since.
