Rodents!

Hey I was wondering if anyone had experience with mice trying to get in ur parked cars in the winter time.

I dont have any food or anything in there so I guess they just like the shelter but the little bastards are shackin up in my car.

Does anyone know the best way(s) to keep them away from my car?

Put food near it on the outside mixed with rat poison.

What about ants? I took my nephews out to a movie and they left some lollipop in my car. Couple days later I had ants coming out out of my vents lol. I haven't seen any lately.

The food with rat poison outside the car sounds like a good idea. You definitely need to get them out of there. Mice ate up the wiring harness on my brother's Z28 and it cost over $1000 to replace. They also made a nest in the air vents on his truck and when he turned on the heater it blew mice sh** all over him.

Being garage kept and owning a cat will eliminate mice/rats. Unless you don't have a garage the poison sounds like a good option.

yea man I have 5 spring traps in the inside/under the car/under the hood of the car. I have peanut butter and snickers on them and they seem to be working. I am lucky I discovered them before they nested in the vents. I wouldnt want to try getting rid of that smell.
I guess I'll just have the carpets shampooed when it gets nice out... such a pain

I've also heard dryer sheets help to repel the bastards so I threw a bunch of them in there. I figure it cant hurt.
