So I found this block on Ebay and it had no bids and a starting bid of $500.

The description was very weak but it had decent pictures and you could tell it was a Rev uP block of which I needed and at 5000 miles on it, I couldn't resist. So I bid $900... Well it ended and I got it for $500+$230 shipping. I was still a little leary of the SUPER EXCEPTIONAL Deal I was getting but I finally got a call from the seller and he was a REALLY nice guy that happens to be a Infiniti TEch in New Jersey.

He tells me that a customer came into the shop and had a oil consumption issue and they replaced his motor for him. A month later he comes back and says it's smoking. They argue that they cannot see it smoking it's running perfectly it's a new motor etc, etc.. Finally after argueing with them over it the Shop manager tells the Tech to replace the motor again and do nothing else for the guy. So he does and he puts the motor with 5k mi.'s on the pallet it came on and it sits for a couple months. Then he put it up for sale on Ebay, that's where he listed it only as a VQ35 and with his low feedback and a not so descript description, it was a risky bid. Without being able to get a hold of him I bid cause I figured I can't lose. I could sell it for parts and get my money back.

Well I got it delivered to my door yesterday......
It is better than I pictured. The Intake Valves look like they have never been used, the exhaust is barely chared.... Every opening is clean and new.... It's true, it's a NEw block for $500.....
Rediculously Awesome Deal... I am blessed...
Just had to share.

When it got to me
