The reason I ask is because I want to determine the health of my engine and pinpoint any problems while it is still under warranty. As I've said in other posts, my engine sounds really loose and I want to get any problems taken care of. Any suggestions for diagnostic tests?

 

The one over on Infiniti Help claims to be for all Infiniti models.

 

Thanks Dave, it does seem the be the same. Which I guess means it accurate.

 

all that is doing is telling you what codes you have if your check engine light is on.

If your check engine light isnt on, then it doesnt tell you anything

 

You need an OBDII scan tool that can monitor whatever sensors you are interested in. Then you'd have to evaluate the health of the motor based on the data gathered.
