Selling My G

This is not definite yet but I am considering selling my G35 coupe and spending 9,000 on a 1969 mustang and spending the $7,000 I'll have left over on making i fast as hell. The g35 just doesn't have enough power for me.

Isn't it your daily driver? You're going to DD a '69 stang? Have you driven a 69 stang?

Buy a POS S14 and drop an rb26 in it and call it day, buy an altima for daily driving. /thread

a 64-70ish mustang will cost more than $7000 to make it fast and decent looking

Also the cost of a decent to good body has gone WAY up since the 2008 mustang came out.

Im not saying dont do it, im saying its gonna be pricey.

A guy I work with has a 66 or so and he spends ALOT of money to make it look nice, he told me he's up in the 15k range. Full restore.....

and where are you planning on going faster??

the high school street races?

I am not looking to buy one that needs a full restore, I found a great deal on one in fantastic condition except for the interior.

I work 40 hours a week at a hardware store so don't take a cheap shot at my age, I'm not one of those kids with their dads money buying a g35.

I didn't say you were in high school...

Where are you looking for speed?

1/4 or autocross?

Ive owned 2 japaneese cars, both are expensive to mod and I just have no money left over after paying for the car itself. I really like my g35 but I am not in love with it, and when you're not in love with a car it's just not right for you. I wanna go american, something that will be louder, faster, and more powerful, I'll have money left over after I buy it to make this possible. Really liking the c3 stingray though.
