Infiniti Elite Extended Warranty, Is my quote good?

Im going to pull the trigger on an extended warranty soon. I was quoted for 2 yrs, $2000. My G is a 2003 and has 50k miles. From what I searched it seems like this is a little high. Any referrals?

have you ever had to use your fidelity extended warranty? when i bought my '04 G i didnt buy the ext warranty after being told my many people as well as researching online, that they are scams and always try to find the slightest loophole to get out of having to pay for a claim. any feedback?

fidelity is probably the BEST aftermarket extended warranty to use as it covers nearly as much as factory and almost every dealer uses it so the work needed can be done/processed/covered faster than many other warranty companies from where ever else. i've used it once for my RF shock that went out after i lowered my car. just another perk of bein a tech and ownin a car u work on for a living. next will be my RH window motor (occasionally goes into anti-pinch), my fuel level gauge, and seat heaters on the driver seat (they work, i just want new leathers again...another perk)

btw, whoever you choose.......just make sure they pay by credit card over the phone when you need work done as far as paying for the repairs on their part. all others is not worth it and too much hassle.

I heard you could purchase a warranty at any dealer and it's observed by all infiniti dealers. You can actually buy it anywhere in the continental united states and from what i heard, i haven't experienced this shop around and purchase one from any state. I also read that there are different dealers with deals on warranties.

for what it's worth, these people's experiences really made me think twice about a warranty that isnt direct from infiniti: http://www.consumeraffairs.com/auto_.../fidelity.html
