warranty

hey i just bought an 04 g35 coupe, the previous owner said he bought the car last year certified preowned with an extended warranty, is there any way i could check if it is still covered?

A standard CPO is not transferable to the new owner. If he got one of the Elite Plans (http://www.infinitiusa.com/ownership/warranty-epp.html), then it is transferable, but that probably should have been done at the time of sale. He needs to submit a form to Infiniti and there's a $50 transfer fee. Or he could have just been blowing smoke up your azz.

Like donut said, call an Infiniti dealer and give them your VIN. They can look up it's warranty status. I'd also get back in touch with the seller and get more specifics on the warranty, i.e. is it an Elite Plan.
